Eriana had gymnastics for the first time today. (If you aren’t aware, I did gymnastics for about eight years in my youth and they were both the best and worst years of my life.) She did really well, mostly followed directions (she had a breakdown when she couldn’t join the big kids class), and tried everything at least once. She gave the teacher a hug when we left and cried. She even tolerated getting stamps on her hands (and feet! Well, she screamed when the teacher stamped her hands, but warmed to it, wanted me to get a stamp, and then was okay.) which is NOVEL for my child who hates to have stuff on her hands, and asks me to clean them halfway through a cereal bar. I think it will be good! She will go once a week, and today there was only one other girl in her class, who is right about the same age.
And, oh, you guys, the cute.

Can’t wait until Saylor can get into classes like this. Cute pictures of a cute kid – looks like she had a blast!

Fun! I’ve been thinking about putting Kalena in gymnastics. I wanted to wait until she was old enough to not need a mom-and-me type class, but she’s 4 now, so I really don’t need to wait anymore!

Do we have the same kid?? Hannah is the same way about getting food on her hands–she starts crying and saying “OH NO, ohhhhhh nooooo, oh no, oooooh noooo!” Seriously, she’s devastated. We’ve been going to gymnastics a few weeks now, and she’s so super excited about stamps at this point.
